John Viso (he/him) is a New York City based performer who originally from Lenexa, Kansas. He was raised by his British mother and Venezuelan father. John first started dancing during his junior year of high school at Miller Marley School of Dance and Voice. During his time at Miller Marley he was a part of the competition team and ballet company. During his high school years, he received additional training from Music Theatre Kansas City. He became extremely passionate about musicals through being in numerous productions with MTKC. John graduated with BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor is Dance from Ball State University. After graduation, John packed his bags and made the big move to New York City. Shortly after moving to NYC, John booked a job performing on a cruise ship while getting to travel the world. He also appeared in Cabaret at Asolo Repertory Theatre, which recently transferred to The Old Globe Theatre that was directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. John is headed on the National Tour of My Fair Lady in the fall of 2023.
